Still not finding what your looking for? Contact us at with your support question. We will respond as soon as we receive your message.

What are the requirements to fulfill a certification?

Each certification has varying requirements. Some may require a minimum amount of flight time, others may require a video recording of a flight attempt.

For example, the APSA Virtual BPERP Certification requires the pilot to record their screen and camera while they attempt the BPERP Scenario Test. That recording is then saved to a shareable platform and submitted as their certification attempt on Zephyr. Once the attempt is reviewed by a BPERP Proctor, te pilot will receive a status update on their certification.

Other certifications may require a level of currency to maintain the "Current" status. For example, if a certification requires a certain number of flight hours in the simulator each month, you will need to make sure that you meet those requirements. Your certification's status will not be "Current" until you meet those requirements.

Do I need a Zephyr account to purchase and fulfill a certification?

Yes. If you do not already have a Zephyr account, you will be prompted to register on purchasing your certification.

How do I receive my certification?

You will receive a digital copy of your certification once it is approved. You can also view and show your certification status through your Zephyr Public Profile page. To view and modify your Zephyr Public Profile settings, log in to your Zephyr account and click the "Settings" (Cog) icon in the navigation bar on the top of the screen.

Your user settings window will pop up. Scroll to the bottom under the Public Profile section

Click the Enable Public Profile toggle

Select which items you would like shared from the menu that appears (First Name, Last Name, etc.)

How long is my certification valid for?

It depends. Terms for certifications vary. Details within the description of the certification will outline how long a certification is valid for.

What if I do not have a Zephyr license required to fulfill the Certification?

When you purchase a certification, if you do not own the relevant license required for the certification, you will be granted a temporary license with enough time to familiarize yourself with the simulator and scenario.

How long does it take for my certification attempt to be reviewed?

It depends. We, and our partners, try our best to review certifications in a timely manner. Details within the certification description will outline the review process and any estimations that we can provide.

What if my certification attempt is denied?

In the event that your certification attempt is denied, you will need to repurchase the certification in order to reattempt.

My certification status says "Awaiting Reattempt." What should I do?

If you receive a notification that your certification is "Awaiting Reattempt", that means that the reviewer found a minor issue with your submission and is allowing you to reattempt the certification without requiring another certification purchase. The reviewer will provide notes that will contain details on why the attempt was temporarily denied.
